Healthy Content Label

We help you write healthy content and score existing content based on our health principles.

The three principles of healthy content

Every piece of content is evaluated based on these three fundamental principles

Truthful

Content is factually correct and based on reliable information. The content does justice to available knowledge and relevant context. There is room for nuance and different perspectives, as long as they are not misleading or presented as absolute truth.

Harmless

The content does no harm, not even between the lines. It doesn’t normalise hate, fear, stereotyping or exhaustion. Subtle or unintended harm also counts. Healthy content leaves people, societies and ecosystems whole.

Valuable

The content adds something to mind, heart or behaviour. It inspires, deepens or helps you move forward. It invites thinking, feeling or doing. Content that only distracts, tempts or aims for clicks contributes nothing.

Why a label for healthy content?

Social media algorithms often promote manipulative content that generates clicks but doesn’t contribute to a healthy society

The problem

Click-driven algorithms

Content that provokes emotional reactions is rewarded, regardless of truthfulness or social value

Polarisation and misinformation

Extreme viewpoints and incorrect information get more reach than nuanced, factual content

Societal harm

The current system undermines trust, promotes fear and hampers healthy public debate

Our solution

The Healthy Content Label uses AI technology to objectively evaluate content on our three principles. Creators receive feedback to improve their content, and platforms can promote healthy content.

Result

  • More truthful content
  • Fewer manipulative tactics
  • Higher social value
  • Healthier online discussions

The founders

We want to contribute to a world in which social media is a source of positivity. A world in which we would rather help each other move forward than outsmart each other. A world in which growth never comes at the expense of others. And we’d love to shape that world with you.
